NON STOP VIDEO ART 2008

An initiative by Formverk, that twice a year makes
a show with international video art.
We invite video-artists and video-creators to
participate in the event.

We have made a selection, and choose six video artists, from Serbia, Armenia, Germany and Sweden.
Formverk has put together a 30-minutes show, for this special occasion.

The selected works are highly individual with different expressions, and the artists use the possibilities of the technique in variuos ways.

Seduction and attraction, erotic playfulness and rejection in the same time. A piece to express desire and rejection, a mental and physical experience between inner and outer, the self and the other. The sound adds layers of rhythm and voices, echoing in a dark distance as they read out love letters.

Exploit  is a videoproject concerning the exploitation and the breaking of the environment humans do. The project has been done in several steps with further developed works. The first version, Exploit 1.0, was made after a trip in Baltic states and Netherlands 2006. Exploit 1.5 is made by clips from Sweden, Denmark, Romania and Ukraine. It was showed at Sörmlands Salon in Eskilstuna 2007.
